Elton Hercules John was born,Reginald Kenneth Dwight on 3/25/47 in Pinner, England.  (he legally changed his name to Elton at the age of 20)

Some might say, Elton was born a great composer that was inspired by his mother’s pick of albums from artists  such as, Elvis, Little Richard, and Jerry Lee Lewis.  (Early Rock n’ Roll)  It is just in his blood.

Around 3 or 4 his Grandmother taught him the Piano.  He could play by ear and would play when company came over to visit him and his parents.

11 yrs……Royal Music Academy/Studied Classical Music

People never fail to amaze me.  The rich at times give less than the poor.  Those you like right away end up to be your enemies.  You can know someone for a long time and find out you really never knew them at all.  Have you ever been always nice to someone to find out they are talking behind your back?  AND>>>>>can you not help talking about others on occasion?  Have you ever met someone who just seems to always be talking bad about someone and you can’t help but wonder what they are saying about you?  Have you ever had a full conversation to find out later that the person you conversed with misinterpreted everything you said?

Some people just hate Cats….and some are called Crazy Cat Ladies.  (you rarely hear of a CRAZY CAT MAN)

They say the only person you can truly count on is yourself or God. I keep hoping that is not true.  It seems like you always find out where you stand with someone when you really need them to be honest with you and they choose not to.

Have you ever met someone who right away just doesn’t like you?  You only shook their hand and you already feel the vibe.  Does what a person looks like really give you the full picture of the person they are?  Do we mold our children to love all races , genders , and Cats or are they born with opinions of their own?

OK, I know you may not be an American Idol fan.  It seems that everyone I discuss it with, either loves it or hates it.   Paula had her issues, but I miss her on the show.  She seemed like the only judge who really understood the industry and wasn’t stuck in the 80’s.  My biggest pet peeve (no pun intended) is that the judges don’t seem to get that in 2010….people love all types of music.  Someone who is in their 20’s most likely enjoys most of what my generation (who’s in their 40’s?) enjoyed, along with their own type of music.  I don’t know anyone in their 20’s or 30’s who wouldn’t get into a little Pink Floyd or Zeppelin.  Stop saying, “You should have chosen a different song” or “Stick with this type of music” …..when the reality is…..I believe we have hit the generation were a performer could be a music star across many genres.   Maybe Rock,  and Country, …….Pop, Punk, Alternative, Indie, Rap, Hip-Hop, Soul, R&B, Jazz, Latin, Meow, Reggae, Christian, Blues, Folk,……etc

I don’t know what it is about the Fireflies video that makes me want to watch it over and over again.  It reminds me of the all famous video “Sledge Hammer”

I can’t help but think how less complicated their lives could have been…. if they only had a Cat.

is it that drawn feeling that you have to get close or you’re going to die

and is it the feeling that you feel when you feel that flutter in your tummy..butterflies or the feel of your unborn child

is it when your child moves away and you feel like someone took your arm with them

is it loving extra that child who is still here, because you know you soon will be losing your other arm

or is it when you wash your elderly mother up, having a sick sense that she may pass away the next day….when her suffering causes you to ask God to take her

is it when a co-worker or friend is suffering emotionally that you put out your heart and hand to comfort and support them

is it that feeling you feel when you first wake up or the last thought that comes to mind before you lay your head down at night

Is it dancing and celebrating Life and Holidays such as Valentines Day..letting everyone you can know how much they are loved

Is it being able to love yourself so that you can love others…when that is hard to see

Does Love Hurt? or is it the most beautiful gift that God gave us?
